Das alte \u00c4gypten hatte ein hei\u00dfes Klima. Menschen, die das ganze Jahr \u00fcber bei hohen Temperaturen leben, waren es gewohnt, sich die Haare zu rasieren, um der hei\u00dfen Sonne zu trotzen. Im Laufe der Zeit entwickelte sich eine Kultur des Haarschneidens.<\/p>\n

Die fr\u00fcheste Erw\u00e4hnung des Rasierens in Europa war der \u201eRasurbefehl\u201c, der von Alexander, dem K\u00f6nig von Mazedonien im antiken Griechenland, erlassen wurde. Um zu verhindern, dass seine Soldaten im Kampf vom Feind kontrolliert werden, befahl er ihnen damals, sich alle B\u00e4rte abzurasieren. Damals wurden Bronzemesser verwendet. Im Mittelalter wurden Rasiermesser mit geradem Griff aufgrund der Entwicklung der Sch\u00e4rftechnologie allm\u00e4hlich von der Oberschicht in den Fokus der Aufmerksamkeit ger\u00fcckt.
